Speaking with the Almighty: Genesis

This book opened my eyes

I was never much a religious person; to be frank, I didn't even consider reading such a book at first. But after understanding the likes of Cain weren't really punished and that Adam and Eve weren't cursed, but prodded out of Eden to fulfill their destinies - I realised there was more to it. I applied this concept to my life and I'm glad I did it!

A wakeup call if there ever was one

The concept as a whole took me back to bible camp. I heard this story so many times before, so naturally, I was skeptical. I have never heard of anything so simple to grasp, though it always seemed to be "crime and punishment", and that's it. Realising Adam and Eve were kicked out for a reason, the snake being but a vessel - I really never thought ot it this way!

An eye-opener!

At first I had no idea what to expect from this book. I was taught a certain way in school when it comes to the bible, but this made me realise that perhaps I was...misled? Is it possible that most of the concepts discussed in the Old Testament were an allegory and, perhaps even, a prophecy of what's about to come in this day and age? I have yet to read anything else like it and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
